Amority Health Counseling – Online Therapy Austin, Texas

General

I offer one-on-one sessions using a blend of approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. We’ll work together to find what feels right for you.

I currently work with adults who are looking for support with a variety of life challenges.

Sessions typically last about 50 to 60 minutes with enough time to check in, explore what’s coming up, and make meaningful progress toward your therapeutic goals.

Fees & Insurance

Each 50-minute session is $145.

We don’t accept insurance, so sessions are private pay only. However, some clients are able to get reimbursed by their insurance provider for out-of-network services. I’m happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) if you'd like to submit it for reimbursement, just check with your provider to see what they cover.

A superbill is a detailed invoice that includes the information insurance companies typically need to process a claim for out-of-network reimbursement. This includes:

  • The type of service (e.g., therapy session)
  • Therapist’s credentials
  • Session dates, costs, and any relevant diagnosis codes...etc.

On or around the first of the month, we will provide you with the superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance company. Check with your insurance company to see if you may be eligible for reimbursement for therapy services provided by an out-of-network provider.

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a written estimate of the expected cost of therapy services. It is required under the No Surprises Act for clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance.

Because therapy is individualized and there is no obligation to attend a specific number of sessions or remain in therapy for a set period of time, the Good Faith Estimate is typically provided based on an anticipated range of services over a defined period (such as several weeks or months). Actual services and total costs may vary depending on your needs and preferences.

The Good Faith Estimate is not a contract, and you may request an updated estimate at any time. Its purpose is to promote transparency and help you make informed decisions about your care.

Yes!  I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available. Feel free to reach out to see if you qualify.

Life happens; if you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance and there’s no charge. For late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or missed appointments, there’s a $50 fee.
